2. (通常指在葬禮上)念悼詞稱(chēng)贊,為…念悼文 If you eulogize someone who has died, you make a speech praising them, usually at their funeral.
e.g. Leaders from around the world eulogized the Egyptian president. 全世界的領(lǐng)導人都致悼詞稱(chēng)頌那位埃及總統。
